Wine. It's what's for dinner! My nemisis in the weight dept. also. My other favorite is the Michelada. Ice, Tecate, and fresh squeezed Lime juice. Oh and don't forget a LOT of salt (in the beer and around the rim of glass)
I am afraid this is true for many of us! Wine and chocolate for my weight, crystal and textiles for my pockets... But then it does keep life deliciously beautiful! p.s. Toot Toot Congrats on the photo!!!
Oh yes this is fabulous - I am with you on this one. Really gorgeous picture as well of the corks. You know I was talking to a friend of mine about your photography the other day. It is really just amazing . . .there is something about it. Like you capture the simple essence of the object you are photographing but it always feels so honest. For me you never manipulate the object to be something it is not - more respect and point out the beauty of its nature. I don't know how to explain it but well you really just have an amazing eye.
Thank you. I am glad I am not the only one that says "It's what for dinner" ;)
ulla, crystal and textiles, you can't go wrong.
tiffinix ... I had to read this a couple of times. It was so touching, and honestly, with all the art directors, all the artwork I have done for so many years on the job, your email was the most rewarding, the most complimentary critique I have ever had about my work. Funny, because it is work that I only do because...as you see and acknowledge, I think every little thing contains some real beauty. But I am not a photographer, only dapple in it and try to just have fun in this medium that I am not paid for, or beholden to anyone for it to look anyway. only the way I want to to be ....
So that is a long-winded way of saying. Thank you so much for that wonderful compliment. I will stay with me forever ;)
I look for the beauty in nature, patterns, the ordinary. This is my place where I save wonderful discoveries since 2004. Please contact me at kimberlycarney AT hotmail DOTCOM.
