Pride and Prejudice redo

Save this post for a rainy day under a blanket.

Pride & Prejudice: The 15 Best Movie & TV Adaptations, Ranked According To IMDb

If you are a Pride and Prejudice fan and can recite the entire book by heart ... then it doesn't matter how cheesy, you will watch :)

This list includes a zombie version! The Bollywood version, Bride and Prejudice (I have watched this one.)

Oh Gosh, I just did a quick search on YouTube and found a treasure trove of more cheesy versions

Then there is the Laurence Olivier version

It's an Edmonds kind of day

Edmonds is perfect today. Cool 60's in the morning, heats up to 70' noon, then maybe 80 today in the afternoon. Not a cloud in the sky, which is pretty unusual for here. Downtown Edmonds is completely in bloom on every street corner and all the summer camps are busy with kids and moms. People, mostly older couples, strolling around with their dog and people meeting up at the local Starbucks. I just delivered

Mason to her summer camp at the new Edmonds Waterfront Center where they are beach combing and exploring sealife. Filled with seniors taking classes and meeting up with friends, hanging out in the sand. David hired some guys to de-weed the backyard. Particularly, the morning glories that have taken over the hydrangeas. Of course, there are a few victims, meaning, long, over-grown branches have broken off. I get really nervous when the "guys" are weeding because they have a tendency not to know a peony from a weed. But I am thankful that the morning glories are gone, at least for the moment.

I pick up Noah from her summer camp at 1:30 then Mason at 3:00. So I have a couple of hours to mop and vacuum. I have been cleaning the basement, in the laundry area. Mainly vacuuming up Murphy hair build up in every corner and unknown stains and such on the floor. It is going to be a 3 part process. Many moppings and vacuumings. It all started yesterday when I was looking for white paint for a Brantlers that someone wants. Yes, I still have a few of those hanging out in the garage. But the hair on the floor was a complete distraction. Being a "toothbrush" cleaner, I can't just be done with vacuuming. I spent most of the afternoon, moving furniture, spraying/scrapping floor, washing walls and moldings.

It's an Edmonds kind of day, the city motto.

How did we get here?

This right here!

1/6 bomb

I sure hope you are watching the hearings! Because it is mindblowing.

Isopod and Armadillidiidae

Isopoda is an order of crustaceans that includes woodlice and their relatives. Isopods live in the sea, in fresh water, or on land. All have rigid, segmented exoskeletons, two pairs of antennae, seven pairs of jointed limbs on the thorax, and five pairs of branching appendages on the abdomen that are used in respiration. Females brood their young in a pouch under their thorax.

Isopods have various feeding methods: some eat dead or decaying plant and animal matter, others are grazers, or filter feeders, a few are predators, and some are internal or external parasites, mostly of fish. Aquatic species mostly live on the seabed or bottom of freshwater bodies of water, but some taxa can swim for a short distance. Terrestrial forms move around by crawling and tend to be found in cool, moist places. Some species are able to roll themselves into a ball as a defense mechanism or to conserve moisture.

Pill bugs in the family Armadillidiidae are able to form their bodies into a ball shape, in a process known as conglobation. This behaviour is shared with pill millipedes (which are often confused with pill bugs), armadillos, and cuckoo wasps. It may be triggered by stimuli such as vibrations or pressure, and is a key defense against predation; it may also reduce respiratory water losses.

Lockhart Clan

I always heard rumor that we were Scotland and had our own tartan, well, here it is. I canceled my paying membership for ancestry and am trying to get the most out of international searching before that disappears. I can't believe how far all of my trees go back, to the 1500 and 1600, England and Scotland.
