Kilts

My dad had a couple of kilts in the appropriate tartan he would wear to special events when we lived in Scotland. An old Texas cowboy in a kilt? He looked very handsome. I like this avant-garde kilt from V&A men in skirts. How to make a kilt.

I see men in these
Utilikilts all the time in Seattle, and baby, they look good!

with a Scottish dad and a year in Scotland at University of St. Andrew's ... I love to see men in kilts. I used to have quite a few myself, but for years my now-twenty-year-old-sons would steal them to dress up as Braveheart for every Halloween for years!

Sigh.... men in kilts! My brother and my nephews love wearing their kilts. Mine used to fit me perfectly... those were the days. Somewhere in the back of my head, I'm trying to come up with a way to incorporate my tartan into a quilt without making it look to Christmasy.

Slainte!

We found my mom's old kilt the other day in storage, she must have had an 18" waist. We kept it. This is interesting, none of the younger guys at work thought they would ever wear a kilt. I thought today's NW man was more progressive.
