My friend sent this to me for Christmas. And when Matt and Bri were taking a look, I was commenting how old I look now in comparison. They both said (now get this), "Mom, you don't look any different right now". That almost made me cry because 1) I know it's not true, 2) because you always see your mother with a certain eye from your childhood - just as I see MY mom as she was at 40. It is nice to have selective vision.

The way we were
