How could I not dig up some precious memories and a photo of my not-so-little-one-anymore- for Photo Friday! Here he is when he was. For much larger image. (Don't forget new parents - it all goes very very quickly.)

Look at that sweet baby, he's adorable. Did you ever imagine when you looked into that baby face that he would grow to be a testosterone creature boy, almost a man? When did that happen?
Precious! What memories baby pictures evoke.
Beautiful and serene! How old is this bundle of joy now?
I have a two month old and a two year old...and I already see the time flying by...
Truly,
Insanity Infusion
wow. nice shot.
Insanity infusion: he is 14 years old and that photo seems like yesterday! I was looking through photo album for a baby photo, and each shot i would say to myself, gosh, that was just yesterday! And that one! was just yesterday. Now he has hair growing everywhere, giving me hell about his homework, plugged into his iPod and I just want to kiss and coddle him ;) Good thing, I still see him in my mind's eye as that little precious baby ;) for his own safety!
What a sweetie pie-beautiful.
What a beautiful photo. What a beautiful baby!
So cuddly and sweet. It does go by all to fast.
When our precious daughter was born, almost 18 years ago, my sweet Mom said to me "Your life will never be the same." I was almost 31 and had already been a registered nurse for 9 years-- I was a little offended that she didn't recognize that I KNEW that.
I didn't know anything.
Beth is the only child we were ever blessed with (and she remains my parents' only grandchild). She has done more to change all of our lives than we could have ever expected. And as she has grown, I have come to admire and respect my own Mom a hundred-thousand times more.
Your post has me pulling out those photo albums again and thinking not only about how much she has grown, but all of us with her. A precious and timely reminder...Thanks.
Mary: Those are precious words for your daughter. My son is also the only and probably last Miller. It seems weird, well, he could have children and carry on his father's name. He was a good kid right out of the gate. I always think it is because he is an only child and has our full attention, that he is moral, and funny and has empathy, but also a boy to the fullest ... funny, how you can love your child so much. A friend of mine is due today, she is late 30's and I was just tellling her how much fun she is going to have. It has all been fun (except for this little homework glitch '0) but this too shall pass. Thank you for your thoughts. Kim
Oh, Kim, he looks just the same.
