Albert Einstein: "If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then (wo)man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more (wo)man."
Is this yet another indication that we have gone too far?
I will glady give up my cell phone, would you?

I read this last week on something online. I thought it was one of the scariest things I've read about lately. If you need to be uplifted-see Richard Preston's The Wild Trees-aout life in the Redwood canopies. I'm not normally a tree hugger but this one is a feast for the senses and mind. Heard the interview on NPR-really interesting
I've been thinking a lot about this. People are so disconnected to the earth, the soil, the plants, as they relate to the food we eat. I read that article and it seems like no organization is doing anything methodically to study the bees. So many possiblities. What about the corn syrup they are feeding the bees. Do you think it's made from Monsanto GMO corn? I could go on for days.
