A Beautiful Day

My wonderful friend Chris collected me on March 12th for a birthday adventure. First we visited the Seattle Japanese Garden, then to the Burke Musuem for the Eternal Thread: Contemporary New Zealand Maori weaving. Picnic lunch of spinach, red pepper, goat cheese and pesto sandwich at Kerry Park. Then off to a surprise full body massage at Napolitano spa, picked up a cake and off the Chris's house for cocktails - Mojitos (she added a splash of Passion Frut juice, mmm), cake - Chocolate - of course! and a gaggle of best girlfriends to end a wonderful day. Thank you, Chris!

What a fun and happy birthday you had! What would we do without special friends to plan such celebrations? Glad that you had such a lovely day and now you can be relieved there are no such monumental milestones coming up for awhile :-)
