Canning vegetables And jams

There is only ONE thing I miss about my daily commute and that is NPR. I drove mom to have another Endoscopy and caught this segment on Canning Vegetables And Jams To Preserve Farmer's Market Flavors featuring Cathy Barrow. I wanted to run home and dust off the canning jars! I hope you caught it too!

Heh. I heard it, but mostly it made me REALLY want that fig jam.

Me too! Mom makes a fig conserve from dried figs ... I will have to post it. It is great.
