Fascinating!
Is there anything more fascinating that looking closely at nature? You can see larger views by clicking on it, and even larger on in Flickr on "all sizes". Also a part of my visit to Sky Nursery macro set.

I was out htis weekend with Chronicler and I had my new camera...I was telling her that "Kim's photos are amazing. That's the goal!" So I tried to get those terrific up close shots of some of the flowers and such on the property...not such good luck. But I will keep trying!
s'mee: I don't do very good shooting outside in the sun, because I don't know what I am doing. These I shot at a nursery, no wind and filtered sun. And ususally I shoot in my house...so we are all still learning ;0. I never know exactly what I am doing - I just take so many, a few have to turn out.
Wow - more fantastic flower shots! Isn't Sky great? I keep telling them to initiate a punchcard system, because I'd get so many free plants. I live just down the road from there. When the Interurban trail is finished, it will effectively link my house to Sky Nursery, and then I'll bike there every day and go broke buying plants, one at a time. :)
thankfully, I did not take my wallet with me at this time....because they have most of my money from past visits ;)
your shots are simply wonderful.
Hi Kim,
Did you get a new macro filter or macro lens? These are terrific!
No new lenses, just the old raynox macro for the coolpix and the lens that came with the canon rebel xt. I WANT to buy a macro for the canon, maybe I will soon.
GULP! Oh these just took my breath away. I too am completely enamored with flowers at the moment. Yours...YOURS just melted me. I love these. I really feel like flowers are the "fine art" of nature. Simply perfect.
