My Christmas present arrived today. Now I just need to sign up for that photography class soon.

Ooh! this is such a good idea. I've been wanting to get back to shooting still lifes, but there's not much space for a studio setup in our apartment. I've dropped a very heavy hint with my husband. :)
Looks like a perfect solution for anyone doing tabletop photography in a small home/office. I really like the tabletop monopod. It doesn't take all that space next to my computer and I can position it directly over an object for macro shots. Seems to have good prices but the small economical one works for me. Thanks for bringing the Sharpics D-Flector to my attention.
Hello Anonymous. Yes, it has been a good device for steadiness for macros. I have found that I still put my white paper on the background for softness.
I look for the beauty in nature, patterns, the ordinary. This is my place where I save wonderful discoveries since 2004. Please contact me at kimberlycarney AT hotmail DOTCOM.
