E-waste or Computer waste slideshow of thousands of discarded computers from western Europe and the US arrive in the ports of west Africa every day, ending up in massive toxic dumps where children burn and pull them apart to extract metals for cash. It will make you feel shame. Ever wonder why I have a house full of old computers, well, the question of what to do with them is one reason. (And that I can't afford new one, the other -- and maybe that is a good thing). Via every day trash, a closer look at what we throw away.

Free e-Waste Recycling Events 2009 but I always wonder, where do these computers go?

China's electronic waste village and E-Waste in India - Short documentary.

Computers are not going away, so I think the creators of such should think of recycling options as they are designing and building them and should have been doing for the last 10 years, don't you?
