A funny dandelion story to go with my illustration. Mom said that pouring boiling water would kill the little crop of dandelions we had in the backyard. So I tried it and it worked. But while pouring slowly around where the peonies were as well, a worm shot out of the ground about 3 inches above the dirt. I laughed but felt terrible that I had probably boiled a bunch of worms on my previous "quick" scalding of other dandelions.

ohh i just have a photo of a full field of dandelions by the sea. i find it adorable to look at tho. and im kinda liking the color yellow nowadays.. dont know why hmm...

Thanks for all your comments on my blog pics. I love this illo, would be perfect on some notecards. Did the boiling water kill the dandelions? Funny thing about my worm picture—this was a "model" worm. I bought some bait worms at Wal-Mart specifically for setting up some shots in my backyard. Very weird, huh? :-) I shoot photos for a stock agency and this is one of them. I guess that makes me a little "less" weird. Ha. I enjoy your blog a lot. I'll be back. :-)
