Ivy's lookout
This started out as a small hole in the screen in Matt's room and now has become Ivy's lookout! This cat is so smart, too smart and totally in love with my son. Follows him wherever he goes, jumps up on anything that will get him closer to Matt's face and really wants to travel on Matt's shoulders, where he occasionally jumps to be closer to Matt. Hysterical. (We live in a zoo).

Pixel is becoming famous!
A Letter to My Dog (my pet {pardon-the-pun} project) has been featured in People Magazine, Cesar's Way Holiday Gift Guide, and Bark Magazine. I am waiting for Ellen and the Today Show ... can't be far behind. What should Pixel wear for her interview?

Where in the world
Did the last week go?
I finally carved some pumpkins last night. Trips taking mom to Dr. appts. Gallery time. Home Depot returns. Dealing with broken-down cars. But, really, did that take all week?
Pebbles sleeps, dead to the world.
While the others, play tug-of-war.

Happy, dry and safe Halloween!

Barking Chihuahuas
Today we have a visiting chihuahua, Max. He is about 2 lbs of energy and playfulness. Sophie has met her match. The others are just thinking "what the hell?" Mom is feeling a little better today. She and David have been glued to football all day.
Rick is so happy! Thesis 2.0 for Wordpress has been released and he has been working night and day learning the ends and outs, so he can pass that knowledge over to us. I mocked up this Barking Chihuahua Cafe site today for him to use as a test to put together in his lesson. Can you guess where my inspiration came from? He is teaching a new class starting tomorrow! I can't wait to shove more knowledge into this little-bitty brain of mine.

Doggie dreams
Have you ever dreamed of being one of your own dogs? I have!
Mom is home, getting her all settled in to be all rested and comfy. The dogs definitely like having her back!

The traveler
I wonder what Pebbles was thinking during the trip to her new home. (Maybe ... who are these crazy women who have kidnapped me!) Just found these photos of her traveling that Robin shot! I would let her ride the cart and she really loved that.

Her new yard ;)
Surveying her new yard space to play and rub in the grass. BTW, what are they rubbing on themselves when they do that? They look so darn happy!

Making up
The first time in weeks I have put on some makeup ;) Headed to Arts of Snohomish Gallery.
And we love each other. With or without makeup.
Jim shot some photos of the hydrangeas which are pretty spectacular.

Pack mentality
I know this is a crappy photo ... Laura is watching the Super Bowl ... and the dogs are enjoying a little "close-time" with (on) her. Our dogs are not spoiled. Hello, Susan!

Letter to Pixel
I just submitted a letter to my dog. More about the project. It is hard to remember how tiny she was.

Morran
I have know sweet Morran for over 6 years. Watched her grow old in her delight and dignity. Rejoiced in her fabulous vacations. Now there is an amazing portrait tribute to her. She was a beloved dog all over the internet and we will miss her. My heart goes out to Camilla.

Poor Pixel
Poor, poor Pixel had an emergency vet visit today. Poor Sophie doesn't know what is wrong with Pixel.
