I bought myself a lapel vase from Japan many years ago for Christmas, then it vanished. I was afraid it got thrown out with the wrapping. I still look for it 'til this day.
And woke up to this wonderful news!!! I hate not having all of my political shows recorded every day.
Should I start drinking Mimosas or wait until we see the mugshot? What a glorious day to be alive. I just don't want to get too excited.
Will he really be treated like any other criminal? I certainly hope so, but rather doubt it.

My last blog was how a School Administrator in Florida was asked to resign because of a complaint of the teaching of Michelangelo’s sculpture of David. Three parents complained, Three! Three seems to be a minority to me. A minority of parents got an Administrator fired and change the direction of education for an entire school. This is the way that parental control of a school will ruin education. We have another school in Tennessee where 3 students and 3 adult workers are killed by and lone gunman that had two assault rifles and a pistol. The majority of our population wants common sense gun control. Here again a minority are controlling the gun situation in America and Children are dying. A School Administrator has to resign but a Congressman and his entire family posing with assault rifle for all things, a Christmas card, which in my opinion is promoting violence, does not. Are we screwed up or what? The world I think just looks at us and shakes its head, foreign countries like Japan have issued travel warnings about terrorism and shootings here is the United States."

Maybe it is the way they are painted with the light filtering through the branches or the fact that they tower over other trees, Italian stone pines are beautiful.

Finally, I ate my last bowl of spaghetti (actually I ate it directly from the Tupperware). I was determined NOT to waste any and I succeeded! I only have one more bowl of red beans!
The Benadryl is working. I have managed two nights of pure, lovely sleep without waking up itching. This is pretty gross, but I am going to share it anyway. I dug out my body brush last night and started brushing firmly. Puffs of smoke (old skin?) were flying off my legs. My legs look smooth and wonderful.
It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Edmonds! AND I saw the neighborhood Hummingbird is back. I had feared they had died in the two week long snow storm. I am so thrilled and relieved to see one land on a branch today. I will put the feeder back out. And replenish the birdseed today. Doesn't look like rain for the next couple of days.

I finally got a full nights sleep last night. I had purchased a bunch of sprays and creams for the middle of the night itching, that didn't really work. Yesterday I bought some antihistamine and Benadryl creme. It must have worked and I am so thankful.
I made my first big drop-off at the Senior Citizen's Thrift Store, and plan on more today! It feels good to make my load light (and cheaper!). The kids helped me yesterday load up my car. Mom's Arabia Karelia Vintage China (1970s. I found a set on Etsy for $650.00! But there is an abundance of it for sale on auction sites. So Bri and I were talking about having a garage sale ... but ... when you go there then you still have to hold on the stuff before you have enough gathered for the event! So we had that discussion yesterday, Do we or Don't we? It is always such a hard decision to make. Some boxes I didn't not even go through, because I simply did not want to have to second think my decision of getting rid of it!
My wonderful, generous neighbor brought me the sweetest gift. Honestly, I don't deserve her. I hope I am out of my funk, I can go back being a normal human being.
I just noticed this on my post page and I don't remember seeing it before. So I don't know if someone out there turned me on recently or not. It seems I violated blogger values! I went through pages of post trying to figure out what was the offending post? I have never seen this warning before and I am dying to know the content of the post that one or more readers have had a problem with. But they don't make it easy to to find it! I never thought I posted anything very racy or threatening except when I mention "the racist, crazy you-know-who". So I guess an apology is due to whomever out there has been offended.
I am going to spare you my rant on waco crazy cult rally and the latest school shooting ... I JUST can't. It all feels to repetitive!
