Conquering fears ... the great fly takeover

I killed about 50 flies before I even had my coffee! And killed at least 80-90 yesterday. The infestation is back, about 10 days from the last one? I thought I had found the source of the last one and was feeling very proud of myself. But now I am just clueless ... where did I NOT look last time. Most of my doors are closed around the house so that boils it down to just a few rooms. I smell nothing suspicious. It is driving me mad ... a demonic takeover! I have to go collect all the fly carcasses... I left them yesterday because there were so many.

Thankfully I heard the yard waste truck on the street behind me so managed to haul it to the street before it was too late. Very busy morning, before my coffee.

The party was great. Driving home in the dark was sketchy! The view from the venue was amazing. Most importantly, Robin had a great birthday.

Then last night I went to the neighbors to meet Mike Rosen, who running for mayor and hear his plan. Very interesting. Been so busy between social obligations and the FLIES FROM HELL. I am off to get Mason, she is now on summer break so Monday's will be a little busier.

I really really miss doing illustrations,  brainstorming ideas and conquering the fear of not being able to pull it off! I found some that are very inspirational.

Botanical study

I have a very busy weekend coming up. The thought of leaving my house and driving at night, all make me very nervous.

I loved Sex and The City so many years ago. So I clicked on the newest edition, And Just Like That ... and I am not sure I can get through the first two episodes. What changed? I do not know. It just feels so forced and fake. I will soldier on.

I hate when cold grape jelly clumps on my warm, buttered English muffin!

A long time ago my step-mother said my life line looked like I would die in my late 60's. So that scared me. I haven't really thought about it for a long time but it popped into my head this morning. There is a double line (fate line) that continues much further down after the main one fades off. I thought that meant something and now I think it is the death of David and the other line is continuing to survive. Just a thought.

The beautiful constraint and symmetry of Mary O'Malley. Her Instagram and Pinterest. Her art is very soothing for me!
