Weed Killer

Yesterday I poured boiling water over all of my little weeds thriving in the slate walkway ... but I was wondering if some vinegar would work too? More money saving homemade cleaners at The Frugal Girls.

    We have a large area over-run with Giant Equisetum (Horsetail) and I've read that the root system for this plant is deep - perhaps 10 or more feet in depth. Making it impossible to pull out, dig out, boil out, threaten with strong words or even poison.

    So I'm thinking, maybe a to call the military and have them do a precise napalm drop ...
