i never had betsy mccall paper dolls but i do remember that my sisters and i would take the catalogs from JC Penny's and Sears and cut the models and the clothes out. they would be our paper dolls... :)
I grew up in during the paper doll generation. I remember receiving them as birthday gifts from friends. My Grandmother subscribed to McCall's magazine. My cousin and I couldn't wait to be the first at Grandma's so that we could score the paper doll from that issue. Nice memories! Thank you.
