Oh lordy. My friend Vivian is a nurse at the air force base at Misawa. She is mostly OK (tsunami stopped 2 miles short of her house) but watching this thing was horrifying. I'm from LA, used to quakes, and still find this difficult to comprehend.
Yeah, Kim. I still have vertigo from the SF earthquake that I experienced. If there is any slight movement ... I go all dizzy! But I can't believe how many earthquakes they are having, and those are significant size, simply called "after shocks"
