Christmas eve morn

Woke up early to a quiet, cold house without the thought of work in my head. Delicious. Answered a wonderful email from a friend, watched as the rising sun turned the snow-capped Olympics red for a minute or two. Spied a Flicker, Junco, Chicadees, Stellar's Jay feast on the suet I put outside last week. I am sure I saw a Towhee. My favorite flock of Bushtits came through the yard. Of course, the ever present Crows. (note to self, buy more suet today). Really love WhatBird site, really helpful. Now, on to get the microwave repaired, cleaning and a little more shopping and then wrapping it all up.
