Berry Explosion
I have no idea what is wrong with me. Tired? Demoralized? I truly feel like a robot. Get up, go to work, come home, eat, go to bed, get up and start all over. And try to clean up something on the weekend. I know it has been a very busy couple of months with little downtime for myself. I haven't made time to do anything creative in so long. That makes me mad at myself. I am not very fun to be around. Sorry, family and friends. Hang in there with me, I hope to gather my strength soon. I did find this little bit of inspiration today walking.

Abandoned
It is so sad to see an empty home, once loved and lived in. This sad and profound series ... 100 Abandoned Houses, one of them seen below.
More Abandoned Places
More abandoned buildings and properties at Web Urbanist. More here, entire towns left to ruin, fascinating. Even a lost and abandoned railroad.
Abandoned But Not Forgotten. I spent much time at the Baker Hotel as a kid and it was a beautiful place.

Craft by Nature Contest
I entered my Ringas in the CraftStylish contest, "Craft by Nature". "Crafters must use any combination of recycled materials, items from nature (yes, we mean pinecones!, etc) and eco-friendly products." Then later thought and forgot about the driftwood/test tube vases! Darn. Gosh, I miss being crafty! Having time to do something fun. Today is full of getting baskets ready for the Jazz Band Auction being held tonight. David promises he will not be involved in this next year, but he said that last year. ;0

Home Sweet Home
Sweet getting home. I realize now I took hardly any photos and the ones I managed to take aren't great. Mom ask to see family and I forgot to shoot anyone except my sister. ;(
My sweetest sister.
A little bouquet in a sifter.
In love with Roscoe, the neighbor dog that hangs out with my dad and stepmom (and their great dogs).
There is something so magical about Texas horizon.

Prehistoric
My brother is somewhat of a Paleontologist. He has been studying arrowheads, indian artifacts and finding fossils, such as Nautilus, Echinoids and Ammonites. He showed me a part of his collection yesterday and I giggled in delight. Fossils Of Texas is an interesting place.
Echinoids (sea urchins) first appeared in the early Palaeozoic, and became common fossils from the Jurassic onwards, during the last 200 million years. Eupatagus, illustrated here (length 60 mm), is a genus of Cenozoic age, so locally common in sedimentary rocks (especially limestones) deposited within the very last 65 million years.
And example below found from another website.

Aunt Lucy
My incredible Aunt Lucy passed away and I am spending time in Texas with my family. Wonderful to visit and be close with everyone, hear birds, enjoy the bluebonnets, get tossed around by Texas winds and drive really fast on the highways. They are saying rain tonight and I am hoping for thunder! {posted from Maypearl}.

Jerry Hall
How could any girl in the 80's forget the Beauty Icon: Jerry Hall. If I ever wanted to look like anyone, it was Jerry Hall! The legs, the hair, the eyes, the lips, the nose. She has it all! And still does. A nice interview here. Image: Getty Images.
