I was on an Ebay kick a couple of years ago purchasing such items and I have boxes of them. My friend Elana gave me this wonderful book "Prince and other dogs, 1850 - 1940", exactly the kind of book I had envisioned me putting together when I bought all of these photos.
I have a picture of my great grandmother when she was about 3 with a black dog. No wonder we always had black dogs as pets... until now... a new yellow lab puppy lives at our house. Maybe someday, many generations from now, someone will enjoy pictures of him with my kids.

Ohhh, I love old photo's too, and have been collecting them from Tag Sales for some time now. Not for any reason, as I haven't thought of anything to do with them. But I just love looking at all the people and thinking about them and their lives...
