Self-Portrait Tuesday 06.27

I am about "popped" out of ideas for Self-Portrait Challenge. As it took me three days to come up with an illustration idea for work, I am having the same brain-block dilemma with Pop Art series. Is there a boot camp for creativity? If so, please sign me up. "Seeking to find the door to my creativity".

Oh, but Kim, it turned out so beautifully!

I was too pooped to 'pop' most of this month so I can relate but I think yours this week is my favorite!

Kim, this just shows you are a true artist while most of us are just dabblers and bunglers. I loved earlier shots of your kitchen but this is so striking. We needs to sign up for creativity camp at your house!
P.S. Loving your new icon photo.

I am reading "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron. You, too may find it helpful. It's a course in the discovering and recovering of your creative self. all the best, susan

Thank you EVERYONE! I used the Photoshop, the first layer > FILE> STYLIZE > FIND EDGES, then I copy the bit of me and the doorway and did some other filter, I did so many I can not remember ;0
Amy, that is my favorite, Bryn Walker, Scholar coat (and pants). It has an uneven hem and I love it...

thanks all for liking this one....it was a stretch for me ;)

I agree with the others, it turned out very interesting.

My solution to get over writer's block was to start a new blog, where I wrote all the things I thought were not good enough for my official blog -- things that were too sad, or too long-winded, or whiny, or whatever. It turned out to be a very inspiring place, where I wrote some of my best stuff! I imagine an artist can do the same, create a new place where they can reinvent themselves.
