Billions Of Mistakes

Bush wants how much more money for the war? They can’t keep track with the billions they have all ready spent, somewhere … someone got a nice little payoff … "U.S. missing billion-dollar Iraq contract". The thought of corruption makes me sick. It seems more and more prevalent in this war. We are throwing away our future, our kids futures, on what?

I am going to start sending invoices to the US government and see if they will pay them. If I collect any money I will give it to my local food bank....

Unbelievable, yet I'll believe anything these days. Our country is so messed up, it makes me cringe.

I can't believe the American public lets this administration run our country into the ground. If you were married to someone who went wild spending money on foolish things, jeopardizing the family's future, would you stay married to him/her? I think it is time that we as a county, divorce ourselves from the present administration. Why are people not more outraged at what is happening? Maybe it is time to bring back the anti-war sentiment of the Viet Nam war. I want to cry every time I see our president on television. To think that one man could do so much harm to so many people and get away with it.

Can you tell I hate the Republicans?

If you can get yourself a copy of Vanity Fair this month-read the piece on Haliburton and the so-called cost of operations. It's shocking-sickening. There is also a great piece by, of all people, Christopher Hitchens, whom I usually think of as semi-funny but incapable of sentiment and a war hawk. It's heartbreaking account of a young soldier that signed up after reading a Hitchens article in defense of the war-the kid was killed. It's worth the price of the mag. Words can't express how much I detest this administration.
Last night I saw a piece about Laura going and helping the women inthe middle east deal with the effects of breast cancer in their closeted culture-What? She suddenly got a voice and if she really wants to help the middle east get our soldiers out of that God-forsaken sand pit. Suddenly the Stepford wife has a message????? There is a special tier of hell for that bunch

I scream in my truck when I hear these stories, out loud and I am sure the car beside me thinks I have lost my mind ... it is so completely unexcusable ... and I too, can not believe that we, as a nation, are not so totally fed up with this corruption that we are not marching on washington ... are we all tired? disillustioned? just trying to make it home from work? I don't know ... but I get ropable ... and I feel I don't know what to do about it ;0
