Beautiful Sunday 4.29

I was glad to be able to think of beauty this morning. I have been in such a dark place all week. Lots of weeping and feeling frustrated about my life, particularly my work. Trying to figure out what to do next in my career. So with that said, focusing on flowers, and even better, the scent of the flowers was a welcome relief! Too bad this isn't a Scratch-N-Sniff Sunday, you would enjoy that even more!
A Breath of Spring Narcissus and clematis. The Clematis Montana smells of delicate vanilla and is blooming in the yard right now.

Mom will be home soon. I hate the blue meanies that come out in the quiet and make us feel less than our own selves. Don't let them get you down Kim, you're an inspiration to me.

Your photos are stunning! I love the jar too.

I hardly ever comment. Not because I have not felt, or have nothing to express, but that all my words fail in comparison to most of what I glean here. These flowers are, as most of your photos, gorgeous and edifying. Thanks, and I hope things brighten soon.

I've also been visiting that dark demon valley - been dealing with pain in my hands (big Yikes for a crafter)... but ... this too shall pass - as will your cloud. Thanks for sharing the pretty.

Don't be blue! I should be blue about my career. You are an INSPIRATION! Thanks for this site. Gives me great ideas.

Bless your heart, Kim, for not only sharing the beauty, joy and wonders of your life with us, but also to be human enough to share those "Grrr! This sucks!" moments, too.

So glad to hear that things are a little brighter today. Go grab some hugs from your sweet young man and your handsome hubby. Then recall those immortal words of Miss Piggy:

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye."

The quote has nothing to do with anything, but it always makes me laugh!

Holy SMOKES!!! Your photos are GORGEOUS (as ALWAYS!!) You will figure out what's next, don't worry a bit! You are an artist and as such your creativity extends into all your life decisions. Tell me you don't set a pretty table for dinner! If a coach that knew you well, or if you were an expert coach, what would you tell yourself to do next?
