Illustration Friday - Monster

This week's Illustration Friday challenge is monster. I know we have all met this (little) monster at one time or another. The one that makes you swear off ever having kids. Those of you that have volunteered at your child's school, this is the kid that made you drive home thinking YOUR child was an angel.

And the big scary monster

Monster with an identity crisis; Cookie monster; Russian blue bear monster; I have see THIS monster and the scariest monster of all!

Both are very good. I fell for the Oil-monster, I read behind the innocent oil the real monster's name: greed.

Sometimes (ok only rarely) my kids are that monster...the cherubic angel applies for the most part though.

We get two illos for the price of one from you this week. I'd like to see that next time I fill up the tank.

wonderous and fantastic… and that second one is all too scary…

after volunteering at my daughter's school, it's like I just got back from a really rocking concert… my ears are buziing for weeks…

love your illustration of the monster-kid. Perfect. Even better, the oil/greed monster. And I just knew when I saw the words, "scariest monster" who I'd see if I clicked. I couldn't resist. Yup -- he's the scariest, all right!

Somebody looked into my past and drew me as a child! Great pictures!

They're both great. I overheard a conversation on the tube last week...if the child screams, treat the parent, not the child. I wonder how true it is!! Great colours in your drawings.

My wife is a teacher and is very familiar with this monster, and I must confess I was this monster, now reformed (mostly.) Thank you for the link to my monster :)

So sorry, my comment was on the oil can monster, you probably thought, I thought, you might be gifted with ESP. Also, the first is so real to life, I have a couple sibleings this reminded me of, and one of my own, you really did bring out the little monster so fine in your illo.
