I've gotten one set of trick or treaters so far.
I don't think halloween is what it was when I was a kid.

We would walk around forever just wanted to get scared! Now, you can't really scare the kids anymore. but it is safer now, just more boring.

Wonderful stairway! We had so few kids last year that for the first time, this year I didn't even carve a pumpkin. Quiet Halloween. :(

What I wanna know is when people started DRIVING to go trick-o-treating. We used to WALK for miles. Yeah, seems boring unless you are four and love giving candy.

I only saw one set last night (I live in a townhouse) and they were not dressed up and using language completely inappropriate in public. I was very uninspired to open the door later that evening.

Your pumpkins are FABULOUS!

I did spend almost a day cleaning/carving. I started and had to get more, a couple for my son.

We had a grand total of 10! Great little kids. But we once had a constant stream of little goblins all night long.

I live in an entirely Hispanic area South of downtown LA and FYI last night we saw literally HUNDREDS of cute kids out Trick or Treating! It was unreal to see so many kids out. My husband said that on one street it looked like rush hour on Broadway in New York with kids stacked five-across, a crowd bobbing up and down! I saw tiny little ladybugs waddling down the street holding their mommy's hand. And Mickey and Minnie!, princesses, ghosts. it was such fun to see from my window.

Your pumpkins are sensational! by the way,

Shelley - you are so lucky! I want to see those kids, in our there costumes, laughing and having a good scare. Maybe we will have to come spend Halloween at your house next year!
